Although guided meditation is rooted in Eastern cultures, Western science has been studying the powerful healing benefit, and has discovered how mindful awareness can support & enhance healing in a variety of conditions and life-events, including: headaches, chronic tension, childbirth, sports performance, public speaking, test-taking, insomnia, anxiety, depression, panic attacks, hypertension, cancer, heart disease, stress reduction, and so much more!
The pace of the world, technology, stress, so much to accomplish every day – all of this leaves us stuck in a heightened state of high-alert.
How do we find meaning in all of this, and create space and stillness within. The list is endless – food, drugs/alcohol, work, television, shopping, gambling are not the answer, but what is?
There is a simple way to achieve peace by going within.
We must first be quiet, to find our center, so that regardless of what is going on around us, we are calm and stable. The way to do this is to grow into & out of mindfulness meditation.
